Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit annual audit plan for approval of top management and audit committee.
• Manage the Internal Audit Department to effectively perform its functions to support the company's goals.
• Manage and monitor the annual plans and budget of the department.
• Establish, implement, and review the department’s policies, processes, procedures, and programs.
• Set the performance targets of the team, evaluate the performance and competencies of direct reports, and support their development.
• Determine internal audit scope and develop the annual audit plan, and monitor its implementation.
• Identify the organization’s significant risks, assess the effectiveness of risk management efforts, and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Examine the reliability and integrity of financial and operational data.
• Review audit reports, present findings, and propose recommendations to departments, top management, and audit committee.
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management's interventions
• Participate in all company activities such as meetings, training , and other developmental activities as may be required.
• Promotes and supports corporate citizenship, safety, security, environmental awareness and quality programs of the company.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by the superior/audit committee.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferably Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• At least 10 years of work experience in the related field and a leadership capacity
