As the Information Security Manager, you will oversee and implement security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data. You will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring security policies and procedures, conducting security assessments, and responding to security incidents. Your technical proficiency will be essential in analyzing complex security issues, evaluating emerging technologies, and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and prioritize remediation efforts.
• Monitor security systems, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and SIEM tools, to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Lead incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and resolution of security breaches, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the design and development of IT systems and applications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT teams on security-related matters, including secure coding practices, network security, and data protection.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively identify and address potential risks.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with security requirements and standards.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of information security initiatives, including key metrics, risks, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
• With a minimum of 3 years experience in information security management roles, with a focus on technical expertise and hands-on experience in security operations.
• Deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices, including network security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Proficiency in performing security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Experience leading incident response activities, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements, such as DPA, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with an array of security technology solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
