JOB ROLE: DATA COMPTROLLER/ ANALYST (On-site)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Data Comptroller / Analyst with expert-level Excel skills and a strong ability to handle, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets across finance, inventory, and business operations. This role focuses on data accuracy, financial analysis, and process automation to drive efficiency and informed decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Manage, clean, and structure large datasets in Excel for financial, inventory, and operational analysis.
• Develop complex financial models, pivot tables, and advanced formulas for decision support.
• Create automated Excel reports, dashboards, and templates for real-time data tracking.
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and forecasting data using large-scale spreadsheets.
• Process and analyze inventory data, stock movement, and procurement efficiency for cost optimization.
• Identify data discrepancies, inefficiencies, and errors, implementing corrective actions.
• Use Power Query, VBA, and Macros to streamline repetitive tasks and automate data processing.
• Generate interactive and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for leadership insights.
• Consolidate and analyze multiple datasets from various sources to improve business intelligence.
• Support data-driven decision-making by identifying patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing control measures and validation processes.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to optimize reporting workflows and data governance.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or Data Science.
• 3-5 years of experience in handling large datasets, financial analysis, and business intelligence.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros, complex formulas, and automation).
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for big data interpretation.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP) is a plus.
