About the role

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Substantial experience in HR leadership role, ideally within a unionized environment
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and people management principles
• A proven track record of leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams
• Ability to think creatively and implement innovative HR solutions
• Excellent strategic and business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
