The IT Support Engineer ensures smooth computer operations by prioritizing, documenting, and resolving user help requests through diagnostics, tracking tools, and hands-on support while enhancing user experience with strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support by fielding help requests via phone and work orders, documenting user details and issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, LAN, and printer-related problems.
• Install, modify, and repair computer systems while ensuring proper documentation of resolutions.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory and support virtualization troubleshooting.
• Follow security protocols, conduct malware removal, and provide training to new users.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Has 3-5 years related experience in providing technical support for desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
• CompTIA A+ is recommended but not required.
• Knowledgeable in ShoreTel communications is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud-based Web Technology preferred.
• Extensive application support experience.
• Manage company assets, inventory control, and mobile device management while supporting cloud-based web technologies.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Skype for Business.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Work independently and collaboratively, handling multiple priorities with attention to detail and a professional attitude.
