Descrição do Trabalho
- Design and execute automated tests for banking software applications to ensure high quality releases.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automation test scripts using latest technology to increase test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams on issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards for financial services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices to support agile, CI/CD methodologies.
- Analyze complex system functionality and from it, devise effective automation strategies.
- Actively engage in sprint planning, providing insights for test automation considerations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand end-to-end scenarios and integration points for effective automation.
- Foster an environment of shared learning and knowledge exchange on automation best practices within the company.
Requisito
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience Level: At least 3 - 5 years of experience in automation testing.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Functional and Software Testing methodologies
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell and Python
- Familiarity with Jira, SVN, and other version control tools
- Extensive knowledge in Web Testing practices
- Understanding of database management systems like Oracle
- Competence in Linux environments
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and analysis
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Execute and monitor results of automated suites within CI environments
- Document defects and work closely with developers to mitigate issues
- Enhance testing strategies and methodologies for fast-paced delivery
- Participate in the creation of testing environments and setups
- Working Conditions: Office setting. May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, analytical, team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for quality.
