Job Description

Requirements:


  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Strong external local audit experience is required
  • 4 years and up of busy season experience is needed for the role
  • Amenable to a daily onsite work from Monday to Friday
  • Willing to work or relocate in Ayala, Makati


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintain a good knowledge of the audit clients in terms of organizational structure, financial statement, previous working papers, regulatory bodies, and the likes.
  • Participate actively in the audit planning activities such as audit risk areas, audit strategy, and design audit work programs based on the results of the audit planning.
  • Prepare reasonable time budget, assess staff requirements, and schedule staff against timetable.
  • Allocate work, monitor the work assignments, and supervise the auditors.
  • Provide coaching and job-related personal training to the team.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the application of techniques and approaches to audit work.
  • Supervise auditors in conducting fieldwork and ensure identified risk areas are addressed properly.
  • Handle and review the working papers of engagements, financial statements and reports, and income tax computation
  • Conduct discussions of identified issues with the clients.
  • Review draft management letters and collated materials prepared by the auditors.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements of clients are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide progress reports, alert critical issues, and keep the Audit Partner informed on planned activities and status of engagements.
  • Advise clients on the application of accounting methodologies
  • Attend to external and internal correspondence
  • Monitors the proposal, billings, and collections
  • Actively participate in the firm’s activities and trainings
  • Abreast on developing changes in audit and accounting methodologies


Salary Range:

₱50,000 to ₱80,000
