Job Description: HR Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for providing effective and strategic HR solutions to support the organization’s business goals and drive employee engagement. This role will lead Philippines HR and admin team on talent management, HR operations, organizational effectiveness, and promoting a strong company culture. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with business leaders, HR teams, and key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of HR practices with business needs. Success in this role will be measured by key HR performance indicators, including employee engagement, talent retention, and operational efficiency.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration/Management, or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of HR Manager experience in similar role, with a track record of successfully managing various HR functions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employment standards, immigration regulations, and government compliance requirements (e.g., DOLE, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, retirement benefits).
  • Familiarity with compensation and benefits programs including statutory benefits and incentive schemes. Experience in salary structuring and compliance with local wage orders is a plus.
  • Experience in handling employee relations, grievance procedures, union negotiations, and collective bargaining agreements (CBA), ensuring compliance with the Philippine Labor Code.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead HR projects from conception to execution.
  • Experience in crisis management and handling HR-related emergencies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to influence business leaders and drive HR priorities effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A meticulous approach to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive mindset that anticipates challenges.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems, and the ability to analyze HR data to drive improvements.
  • Experience in adopting and leveraging HR technology solutions and knowledge of RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) will be a valuable asset.
  • Working experience in Japanese company or reporting to Japanese boss
