Job Description

The Program Manager is responsible for conceptualizing, managing, and monitoring social development programs that align with the vision, mission, and objectives of BPI Foundation. This role involves researching and proposing initiatives that ensure BPIFI’s programs are impactful, scalable, and widely accessible while remaining aligned with the Bank of the Philippine Islands’ corporate social responsibility mandate.

The Program Manager must have a deep understanding of BPIFI’s vision and mission to drive effective implementation through strategic social investments. Additionally, they will cultivate partnerships by establishing strong relationships and open communication with academic institutions, government agencies, local government units, non-government organizations, people’s organizations, and other credible institutions to foster a participatory approach in program management.

Measuring and evaluating social impact is also a key responsibility of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Studies and proposes social development undertakings to continuously implement programs aligned BPIF’s advocacies and support BPI’s corporate social responsibility.
  • Pursues partnerships with like-minded organizations for a participatory approach in program management.
  • Uses appropriate monitoring and evaluation tools in development management to establish metrics and measure social impact.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the program’s communication strategy
  • Ensures efficient use of the CSR budget provided by BPI.
  • Reviews and authorizes transactions, contracts, and requests for payments following the required approval limits.
  • Handles other tasks or assists other teams, as needed, for the achievement of BPIF’s overall objectives.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management, budget control, policies and procedures, supplier and service provider accreditation processes, documentation and basic contract requirements, partnership management, and operational processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, community development, operations, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to gather, consolidate, and analyze data with a high level of accuracy in report preparation.
